Nicole+Felicia Couture; the Taiwanese Fashion Brand Powering Today’s Popstars

Nicole Chang, co-founder of the Taiwan-based bridal label Nicole + Felicia Couture, shares with CNA Lifestyle how their gowns became a hit with big-name celebrities and brides seeking the best.

Even if you haven’t heard of Nicole + Felicia Couture, you’ve likely seen its creations. The label’s stunning gowns have been worn by A-listers including Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, and Jennifer Lopez. Swift wore an embellished bespoke Nicole + Felicia gown at the Los Angeles stop of her Eras Tour and a lilac crystal-embellished gown in Kansas City. Lady Gaga donned their gowns on multiple occasions during her 2023 Las Vegas residency. Lopez wore their pink bustier gown with rosettes at the Golden Globes this year.

In Singapore, Nicole + Felicia gowns—whether bridal or evening wear—are favorites among socialites and celebrities. At the most recent Star Awards, celebrities Jernelle Oh wore an elegant, sequinned gown, while Jesseca Liu stunned in a striking black gown with voluminous white rose sleeves, one of the event’s most memorable looks.

Liu’s floral ensemble echoed the resplendent pink gown Jennifer Lopez wore to the Golden Globes in January, which featured a long train and larger florals fitting the grandeur of the occasion. The impact of this look was so significant that Lopez chose another similar creation by the brand for her performance on Saturday Night Live just a month later—a cape-styled gown adorned with large pink roses.

The floral theme is a signature of the brand, but as Nicole Chang reveals, it’s just one of many elements defining Nicole + Felicia Couture. What sets all their creations apart is the consistent wow factor, making the label a favorite among celebrities looking to make an unforgettable impression.

Nicole + Felicia Couture was founded in Taiwan in 2015 by Nicole and her sister, Felicia. Today, Nicole primarily steers the brand while Felicia focuses on their family’s business in luxury bridal wear.

“Our parents have been in the wedding gown production business for about 30 years,” Chang explains. “Growing up, we were always involved and exposed to this environment—seeing seamstresses at work, observing the design process, and understanding how fashion brands operate. We were learning the ropes from a very young age.”
