Sadia Haque, co-founder and CEO of ShareTrip, has been recognised with the Outstanding Woman in Business Award at the 23rd DHL–The Daily Star Bangladesh Business Awards. The ceremony took place at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden, with Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed as the chief guest and Commerce Adviser Sk. Bashir Uddin as the special guest, alongside leading figures from business and policymaking.

The award celebrates Haque’s remarkable role in growing ShareTrip from a small three-person startup into one of Bangladesh’s leading travel and lifestyle platforms. ShareTrip is the first travel company and startup in Bangladesh to receive a Superbrand under her leadership. The company also had more than one million downloads of its mobile application, which demonstrates its high influence on the emerging digital economy of the country.

Haque made social responsibility a key part of the company’s culture. She started the travel sector’s first CSR programs with NGOs. These programs help solve important community problems and show ShareTrip’s dedication to giving back.
