Alison Hollywood Appointed as Foreign Consultant at FRP Advisory Group

Adding to its growing list of offices located worldwide, FRP Advisory Group, one of the business consulting firms in the UK, has revealed the launching of another office based in Belfast. The firm also informed that one Alison Hollywood, who comes with extensive experience in the field if forensic accounting, has been appointed as the partner in charge of the region’s forensic services.

Founded in 2010, FRP Advisory has more than 740 staff members today, spanning 29 locations. The firm is particularly known for its rich mixture of advisory services oriented on companies, lenders, investors, and individuals alike; the firm has seen significant expansion following its public listing in 2020. The opening of the Belfast office is another important development in the overall growth strategy of FRP increasing the firm’s overall reach and consolidating its proficiency in the key areas of services which include, but is not limited to, forensic services.

With more than twenty-four years of experience, Alison Hollywood, a forensic accountant, has been appointed to head Northern Ireland’s forensic team at FRP. She offers well-rounded experience in providing guidance on intricate business interruption losses and in assessing the value of many disputes. With the focus of her work, Northern Ireland has been the market where Hollywood has been prolific for the better part of her career, enabling her to grasp its intricacies very well. Before joining FRP, she was a director at PwC in charge of management of disputes practices in Northern Ireland and Scotland and also managed the company’s practice in insurance claims.

Referring to the opportunity of establishing a new office, Hollywood noted, “The economic situation necessitates a growing demand for forensic services especially those related to disputes and investigations. The reason why this was particularly interesting was the reputation of FRP in taking on complicated, high profile cases and its team-oriented cultures.”

The new office based in Belfast will offer the full suite of forensic services, but particularly focus on aspects of dispute resolution and investigative work. Looking to the future, Hollywood outlined the firm’s aspiration to establish itself as the number one forensics services provider in Northern Ireland.

In the words of Geoff Rowley, CEO of FRP, “We are happy to welcome Alison on board and take our services to Belfast. Her extensive local knowledge and experience will be instrumental as we look to enhance our forensic services in the region and improve our overall capabilities across the UK.”
