Women’s Sports Leadership VIP Summit Co-hosted by Women Leaders in Sports with NCAA

A two-day event with think tank sessions and Q&A is held before the Women’s Final Four in Cleveland. The inaugural NCAA Women’s Final Four Women’s Sports Leadership VIP Summit will take place in Cleveland on Thursday and Friday, co-hosted by Women Leaders in Sports and NCAA women’s basketball. The purpose of the gathering is to bring together prominent and powerful female executives from the sports and business industries to:

  • Talk about how to use the momentum of women’s sports to further develop, draw attention to, and appreciate all women’s sports.
  • Determine how to get more women involved in sports, both men’s and women’s, as leaders and employees.
  • Establish links with all facets of sports.

In addition to multiple invitation-only receptions and connecting events focused around the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship, the two-day event will feature think tank sessions and a public question-and-answer forum for those in Cleveland for the Women’s Final Four.
Patti Phillips, CEO of Women Leaders in Sports, will lead think tanks especially for conference participants. There will be two public panel sessions at Beyond the Baseline inside Tourney Town on Friday from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Eastern time. Attendees and local and national media agencies will have the opportunity to interview participants.
Women’s sport executives from collegiate, amateur, and professional sports around the nation were invited to take part and offer their thoughts on various themes and challenges.
The VIP Summit will offer a chance for networking and a stage on which to promote the national women’s sports ecosystem.
